Mesh by the Roll or Metre

Mesh by the roll or metre

All meshes are precision woven for use in the seiving and screening of a wide range of products. Mesh can be bought by the roll, or cut by the metre. Widths from 1 to 2 metres wide.

Below is a list of filter mesh materials. If you do not see what you need, please call us.

NYLON

  • Nylon is a synthetic material which is the most used material in the market today.
  • It has a working temperature of up to 120 degrees C.
  • It is fair with acids & oxidising agents, good with alkalis, and excellent with solvents.
  • Please refer to the list of nylon meshes we stock ( typical examples )
  • If you do not see the mesh you need, please call us.
  • Apertures range from 0.5 microns up to 5 mm.

We also stock a range of blue food qauality nylon mesh.

POLYESTER

  • Polyester is a synthetic material which is used like nylon, but at a higher temperature.
  • It has a working temperature up to 150 degrees C.
  • Apertures range from 1 micron to 5 mm.
  • It is poor with oxidising agents, good with acids, and excellent with solvents.
  • Please refer to the list of polyester meshes. ( typical example )
  • If you do not see the mesh you need, please call.

POLYPROPYLENE

  • Polypropylene is a synthetic material which is used in a similar way to nylon, but with a max temp of 120 degrees C.
  • It is excellent with oxidising agents, acids and alkalis, and is good with solvents.
  • Apertures range from 100 microns to 5 mm. If you don't see what you need, please call us.

ETFE

  • ETFE ethylene / tetrafluoroethylene copolymer can be used at higher temperatures ( up to 260 degrees C)
  • and with more agressive chemicals.
  • ETFE is excellent with oxidising agents, acids, alkalis and solvents. If you don't see what you need, please call us.
  • Please refer to the list of meshes usually in stock.
  • Apertures range from 70 microns to 2 mm.

CARBON FIBRE

  • Carbon fibre mesh is a synthetic material that disperses static electric charge developed during sieving.
  • It can operate at up to 120 degrees C.
  • Apertures range from 63 microns to 3 mm.
  • It is fair with oxidisers, fair with acids, good with alkalis, and excellent with solvents.
